报告题目: Effect of autapse (自突触) on activities of coupled neurons 自突触对耦合神经元活动的作用

报告摘要:An autapse is a synaptic connection between a neuron and itself. Recently, experiments have revealed that autapse might play an important role in brain function. In the current report, I will introduce our simulation works on the effects of autapse on the two coupled neurons and coupled neuronal network. Firstly, in two symmetrical coupled neurons, it is found that the autapse adjusts the firing frequencies and synchronization of the two neurons. Secondly, in a toy network consisting of four coupled neurons and a scale-free neuronal network, it is found the proper placement of a small number of autapses in the network can promote synchronization significantly. Moreover, the memristor is believing as promising building blocks for the realization of artificial synapses and neurons and can therefore, be utilized to construct hardware neural networks. So using a memristor to achieve the autaptic function may be also important and interesting.

报告人简介:王恒通,男,2014年于兰州大学获得理论物理学博士学位,现为陕西师范大学物理学与信息技术学院副教授,硕士生导师。主要从事理论物理和神经科学交叉领域的研究工作,目前关注的是自突触作用下耦合神经元的响应动力学以及不同层次神经元集群网络间的零延迟同步演化机制。在Phys. Rev. E、Chaos、J. Theor. Biol.、Commun. Nonlinear Sci.等期刊上累计发表科研论文20余篇。先后参与和主持国家自然科学基金8项,主持陕西省自然科学基础研究计划-青年人才项目1项。2018年获陕西省科学技术二等奖。
